I utilize the Collaborative Active Learning Instructional Design Model while designing and developing courses and training opportunities. This model uses backwards design, collaboration, reflection, and active learning techniques to create an engaging, aligned, course or training with higher-level thinking opportunities.

TECHNOLOGY
I have experiences with many different types of technology within instructional design. These include Storyline Articulate and Rise, Vyond, H5P, Camtasia, Learning Management Systems, and much more. It is important to note that while technology can make learning more engaging, it is essential to use technology to enhance learning rather than the "cool" or "fun" factor. Each time I employ technology, I utilize the TPACK model and consider how it best fits within the alignment of the course or training.
